Maya Man (b. 1996) is a Los Angeles-based artist who considers the computer screen a space for intimacy and performance; her practice responds to contemporary internet cultures with a focus on identity and femininity.

Her solo exhibition Secrets From a Girl has recently been shown at the Broad Art Center, Los Angeles, and SOOT, Tokyo (2022). She has been featured in group exhibitions Becoming, Heavy Manners Library; Artists Who Code, Vellum LA and Artsy, Los Angeles; Figure, Character, Sign, Aplus A Gallery, Venice (2022); Radical Return, BU Art Galleries, Boston; Social Code, Feral File, Online; Cyber Garden, Museum of Art Pudong; Blue Cables in Venetian Watercourse, Power Station of Art, Shanghai (2021); and FASCIA BLUES, CADAF, Miami (2019). Commissions include On Making Sense of TikTok for Are.na; THE MODEL MINORITY IS A MYTH! with For Freedoms; and madelinesnotes.cloud, with Brown Arts Initiative.

Her work has been featured in Art in America, Forbes, Refinery29, DanceMagazine, and more.

Maya holds BA degrees in Computer Science and Media Studies from Pomona College, and is currently pursuing an MFA in Media Art at UCLA.
