Houndstooth

In HOUNDSTOOTH the skin-tight McQueen boot with sharp studs that give off a ‘don’t fuck with me,’ attitude pictured striding through the Dorset woodland is suggestive of the ‘Wild Woman’ stereotype. A free spirit who cannot be tied down and hides much of herself from view, leaving us to imagine her story as she disappears into the undergrowth. The houndstooth pattern originally used for hunting garments also embodies the Greek goddess Artemis, who is the ultimate empowered female.
